and developed by students at Chiba Institute of Technology having technical back grounds and unique characteristics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also, AYAME is an educational project in order to develop high-level engineers by the Planetary Exploration Research Center (PERC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why &#8220;AYAME&#8221;\uff1f<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The flower language of the Iris (<strong>Ayame<\/strong>) is &#8220;<strong>Strong Hope<\/strong>,&#8221; a meaning born from the sight of the flower growing straight and resilient during the rice-planting season, symbolizing a prayer for life-giving rain. From Greek mythology, it also carries the meaning of &#8220;<strong>Good News<\/strong>&#8221; or &#8220;<strong>Glad Tidings<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The APRS mission of our sixth satellite aims to share the tradition of <em>Omikuji<\/em>\u2014Japanese fortune-telling\u2014with people worldwide through satellite communication. We named the satellite <strong>AYAME<\/strong> to reflect our firm resolve: to deliver &#8220;good news&#8221; to the world and to ensure that our mission data\u2014truly glad tidings for humanity\u2014always reaches Earth.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GARDENs-06 AYAME What is AYAME?
